Tuesday saw the release of the Vadhandhi – The Fable of Velonie teaser on Amazon Prime Video. The series, which Andrew Louis wrote and directed, is sponsored by Pushkar and Gayatri. Vadhandhi covers a murder investigation that takes place in the country, much like the OTT juggernaut’s earlier Tamil web series Suzhal: The Vortex.

SJ Suryah makes his digital acting debut as a police officer who becomes fixated on an inquiry. According to the teaser, he views the inquiry as a personal quest rather than a part of his job. Why is he so closely involved in the young woman’s murder investigation? He must have witnessed a lot of crimes like this over his tenure. “I won’t rest until I find those who killed Velonie?” tells Suryah’s character.

As he neglects his responsibility as a lawyer for the law and talks about killing the offender with his bare hands toward the end of the video, we can tell that the issue has become very personal. Vadhandhi – The Fable of Velonie appears to have seen SJ Suryah at the top of his game. He appears to be at ease playing people that are consumed by an obsession.

The murder case that is used by the media to gain attention and the subsequent agony endured by the victims’ families are also discussed in the trailer. Along with tracking down the murderers, Suryah must also wade through the flood of rumors that have surfaced after Velonie’s passing to uncover the truth about her. Sanjana, Laila, Nasser, Vivek Prasanna, Hareesh Peradi, Smruthi Venkat, and Kumaran Thangarajan are also featured in Vadhandhi – The Fable of Velonie. On December 2, it will make its Amazon Prime Video debut.
