Sitaram Yechury India Not Required In Alliance Coordination Committee

CPM General Secretary Sitaram Yechury has expressed that India’s inclusion in the alliance coordination committee is unnecessary, as decisions are primarily made by top leaders. He also emphasized the CPM’s commitment to strengthening its alliance within the country.Regarding the usage of the name JDS in Kerala for technical reasons, Yechury pointed out that the Kerala-based JDS is not closely aligned with the national leadership. He highlighted that the state unit in Kerala has politically distanced itself from the JDS national leadership led by HD Deva Gowda.

Yechury also disclosed that the CPM is engaged in seat discussions across various states, including Telangana, where talks with the Congress are ongoing. However, he clarified that final decisions in this regard have yet to be reached.
