Simbu’s ‘Pathu Thala’ first song Namma Satham OUT

Silambarasan, the famed Tamil actor, turns a year older today (Feb 3) and his admirers are preparing to celebrate both online and offline. The fiery actor’s next big screen appearance will be in ‘Pathu Thala,’ which is gearing up for a massive theatrical release. Namma Satham’s makers released an intriguing promo video yesterday (Feb 2), and the 21-second video has sparked interest in the film.

After the promo, the makers unveiled the full song of ‘Pathu Thala’ Namma Satham on Feb 3 at 12:06 AM, continuing Silambarasan’s 9 sentiments (12:06 = 1+2+0+6 = 9) and the song has turned on the fans’ celebration on social media. A.R. Rahman composed the song, which was also sung by the composer Yogi Sekar, and Vivek wrote the lyrics. In a glance of the song video, Silambarasan was seen rustic and aggressive in all-black clothes, and the dance looked unique as well.

‘Pathu Thala,’ directed by Obeli N Krishna, is a Tamil remake of the Kannada film ‘Mufti,’ with Silambarasan reprising the role of Shiva Rajkumar as a gangster. The action drama also stars Gautham Karthick, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Gautham Menon, Teejay, and Kalaiyarasan, and filming has already finished. The post-production work is moving quickly, and the film is set to hit theatres in March.

In the film, Simbu portrays an underground gangster, while Gautham Karthik plays a cop. On the work front, after ‘Pathu Thala’, Simbu is purportedly said to act in the film ‘Corona Kumar’ but current reports say that the actor has not formally signed up for any movie after ‘Pathu Thala’.
