The shooting of the film Mura, directed by Muhammad Mustafa, has been completed in the backdrop of the capital city. The shooting of Mura took place in Thiruvananthapuram, Madurai, Thenkashi and Bangalore for fifty seven days. The film is being produced by Riya Shibu under the leadership of HR Pictures, a leading production and distribution company in Kerala cinema. Suraj Venjaramood, Hridhu Haroon, Mala Parvathy, Kani Kusruti, Kannan Nair, Jobin Das, Anujith Kannan, Yedu Krishna, Vigneshwar Suresh, Krish Hassan and CB Joseph are playing the main characters in Mura.
Mura is composed by Suresh Babu of Uppum Mulakum fame.
