Shivarajkumar will play a negative role in Rajinikanth’s Jailer

Rajinikanth is currently filming Jailer his 169th movie. Along with him, the movie stars Shivarajkumar, better known by his stage name Shivanna. Although details about his character and role have not yet been made public, it is presently believed that Shivarajkumar will play a negative role in Jailer.

Shivarajkumar officially announced in June 2022 that he will be working with Rajinikanth on his 169th movie. In an interview, Shivarajkumar said, “It’s a great opportunity for anybody to act along with Rajinikanth, and I’m glad that this project has made it possible for me. He knows me since my childhood, and I share a special bond with the senior actor. Irrespective of the role, I’m glad to be part of this film. I’m sure fans will love to watch Rajini Sir and me together on the silver screen.”

The actor said in the same interview that the film’s production will start in August and that he will begin filming in September. Shivarajkumar also stated that the film would be filmed in either Bengaluru or Mysore. The film’s creators have not yet revealed the rest of the cast. In the movie, which will reportedly have four heroines, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan or Tamannaah Bhatia would purportedly portray the female protagonist.

Nelson Dilipkumar is the director and Sun Pictures is the producer of Jailer. This is Rajinikanth and Nelson Dilipkumar’s first project. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the film’s score, and Jailer is slated to hit theatres in the summer of 2023, according to a number of publications.

In June 2022, the movie’s first look poster was unveiled, and now that it has, fans are eagerly awaiting additional information about the project. According to sources, the movie team is in talks with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sivakarthikeyan, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Ramya Krishnan, and Yogi Babu.
