Anup Pandalam, the director of “Shefeekkinte Santhosham,” has finally responded to accusations made by actor Bala, who played important role in the movie. Bala said in a recent round of interviews that neither he nor the film’s technicians received their compensation. Unni Mukundan played the lead in the movie “Shefeekkinte Santhosham,” which was also financed by his production company.

Anup Pandalam, in his latest social media post, stated that he received the amount for directing the film. Gave an explanation “Since actor Bala mentioned my name in the conversation with the online channel. I have duly received the remuneration for my first film ‘Shefeekkinte Santhosham’, which I wrote and directed. To my understanding, other technicians too were paid. It was Unni Bro who recommended him in this movie. Bala plays a solid character in the film. Glad that he pulled off the character and received the audience’s appreciation. Everyone cooperated well to complete the film and we are happy about the success. I feel bad that my name has been dragged into such matters at this time,” Anup Pandalam said in his note.

Bala, meantime, recently made severe accusations against Unni Mukundan, alleging that only female artists who worked on the movie received payment for their services. He claimed that neither he nor the film’s technicians received payment for their work on “Shefeekkinte Santhosham.” Bala added that he is not shouting at the technicians to demand payment, but rather for their own protection.
