Shaakuntalam is a Telugu film based on Kalidasan’s Abhijanana Shaakuntalam’. Samantha is the heroine in the movie. Young Malayalam actor Dev Mohan is playing the role of ‘Dushyanthana’. Now the makers have shared the release information of the film. The film will release in theaters worldwide on February 17.
The crew has also released a poster sharing the release information. Shakuntala and Dushyantha who are romantic can be seen in the poster. Shaakuntalam is directed by Gunasekhar. Dev Mohan is an actor who came to the silver screen with the film ‘Sufiyum Sujatham’.
It was initially announced that Shakunthalam would be released on November 4 last year. But the release was postponed due to various reasons. Shaakuntalam will be released in 3D in five languages including Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
