Rajasthan Royals, led by Sanju Samson, have made a significant pre-IPL move by appointing former Mumbai Indians bowling coach Shane Bond as their new bowling coach. This decision comes on the heels of Bond’s resignation from his role as the Mumbai Indians’ bowling coach just last week.Shane Bond was an integral part of the Mumbai Indians’ journey to five IPL titles. Beyond his IPL experience, he also served as New Zealand’s bowling coach from 2012 to 2015. In his new role, Bond will be responsible for coaching the Rajasthan Royals’ pace attack lineup, which includes the likes of Trent Boult, Prasidh Krishna, Navdeep Saini, Sandeep Sharma, Kuldeep Sen, Obed McCoy, KM Asif, and Kuldeep Yadav.
The former New Zealand cricket star, Bond, has an illustrious history as the bowling coach for the Mumbai Indians, spanning a remarkable nine-year period. In addition to his role as the pace bowling coach, Bond will also take on the added responsibility of an associate coach within the Rajasthan Royals’ setup.
