In an interview with Neha Dhupia, Parineeti Chopra spilled the beans on how they became friends and said, ‘You know that’s how we became friends because she in some interview said, ‘I would love to see Parineeti playing me in my biopic’. She was playing the US Open at that time and she called me in the night around 2-3 AM and said ‘Hi this is Sania Mirza and i want to tell you that I had given an interview yesterday and it’s all over the country and also on the front pages. I felt it was my duty to let you know why everything occurred.’ I found her gesture very sweet.’
