Eight months after the Galaxy M31 went on sale in February this year, the successor to the Samsung Galaxy M30 is a special edition model. Samsung has teamed up with e-commerce giant Amazon to launch the Samsung Galaxy M31 Prime. The Galaxy M31 Prime version also features some pre-installed apps from Amazon and a free subscription to Amazon’s OTT platform Prime for 3 months.

The Samsung Galaxy M31 Prime will be available for purchase at the Amazon Great India Festival starting on the 17th of this month. The Galaxy M31 Prime with 6GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage is priced at Rs 16,999. The 128GB version of the Galaxy M31 does not have the Prime version available. There is also an instant cashback of 10% on purchases made with HDFC Bank credit and debit cards. The Galaxy M31 Prime is available in a new color called Iceberg Blue, along with the Ocean Blue and Space Black colors sold by the Galaxy M31.

Specifications There is no difference between the Galaxy M31 and the new Prime model. The dual SIM (Nano) handset runs on the Android 10 based One UI 2.0 operating system. The phone has a 6.4-inch Full-HD + (1080×2340 pixels) Infinity-U display with a Super AMOLED panel. The aspect ratio is 19.5: 9. The phone is powered by an octa-core Exynos 9611 SoC processor.

It has a 64-megapixel primary Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with f / 2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 123-degree field of view, and a 5-megapixel rear camera with a 5-megapixel camera. The phone supports live focus and bokeh effect. The Samsung phone also features Dedicated Night Mode, Super Study Mode, and Super Slow-Mo (with interpolation). The Samsung Galaxy M31 has a 32-megapixel selfie camera for taking selfies and making video calls. This selfie camera supports 4K and slow-mo video recording.
