If there is one movie this year that superstars in Indian cinema were mesmerized by, it is “Kantara” by Rishab Shetty. Every famous person, regardless of their profession, has expressed their love for the movie on social media, phoned Rishab Shetty, and even invited him to their houses to discuss it in person. The two celebrities that liked Rishab Shetty’s “Kantara” the most were Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, and their invitations to his home and phone calls to him caused him some anxiety.
In a recent YouTube interview, Rishab Shetty talked openly about the reactions Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan had after watching “Kantara.” Not only did Rajinikanth cease praising the movie on Twitter, but he also called Rishab Shetty to his house to talk more about it. Later, Kamal, who had also immensely appreciated the movie, called the actor-director.
Speaking about the anxious moments he had with Rajini and Kamal, Rishab Shetty stated that while Kamal is known as the God of Performance, Rajini is a mass-appealing celebrity (because of the kind of content he has brought to the Indian cinema industry). Rishab consequently received the same type of energy from both of them. They questioned him about the movie, his career, and his ambitions going forward. The actor further disclosed that Rajini sir paid him an hour-long visit during which they talked extensively about the sequences and Rajini sir praised the actor’s performance.
Rishab added that when he received a call from Kamal Haasan and when he met Rajini sir in person, he was literally shaking. The “Kantara” star claimed that it was the first time a celebrity had phoned him, which meant a lot to him.
