According to the information received from the Madhya Pradesh Education Department, schools, colleges and coaching institutes will not be opened in the state from July 1. All these institutions will be opened from September 1. The decision was taken by a group of ministers and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Higher Education Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav was also present on the occasion.
According to reports, this decision was taken at a time when there were speculations that school colleges would be opened in July or August, but students would not have to come to school. In the presence of the Education Minister, this decision was taken on the advice of the Union Ministers and other State Ministers. On the advice of the District Disaster Management Committee, classes will be conducted with 50% physical presence of students as per the college-wise timetable. The laboratories will be operated with 50% attendance of the students.
The admission process for the undergraduate second and third year and postgraduate third-semester classes will run from August 1 to 30, 2021. The new session for undergraduate first, second, third year, and postgraduate first and third semester will start from September 01. At the same time, the results of graduation first/second year and postgraduate second year will be released in August 2021.
