REET 2021: There is good news for the women candidates appearing for Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (REET). The Rajasthan Board is trying that the examination centers should be allotted to the women candidates in their home district only. The priority of the board is that women candidates do not have to go to other districts to take the examination. However, in many border districts, the number of examination centers is being said to be less as per the demand as candidates from other states have chosen their examination center here in preference. In such a situation, in these districts, it may be that the examination centers of women candidates may be allotted in the surrounding districts.
REET will be held on 26 September. The examination will be conducted at 4200 centers in all the districts of the state. More than 16 and a half lakh applications have been received for REET.
Opportunity for language modification till 31st August
Rajasthan Board has given the opportunity of language modification to the REET candidates on 31st August. Candidates can download the format from REET’s website reetbser21.com and send it to REET office by 31 August through speed post along with Rs.300 per revision fee.
Reet exam has not been held for 4 years, due to which the number of students has increased by 6 lakhs this time. Around 10 lakh candidates had appeared in the REET recruitment exam in the year 2017. The increase in the number of candidates will also affect the cut off merit. This time the candidates will have to work harder to get selected in the third grade teacher recruitment examination. The highest cut off was 132 in REET first level and 136 in second level in 2017.
