This year, the much-awaited Rajinikanth movie has changed the release date of Annathe. The film is expected to release next year as a Pongal release. The new date has been announced by producer Sun Pictures. This is because the work associated with the image will be in the wake of the lockdown.
In a statement, FFC (Film Employees Federation of South India) said it has resumed post production work of 13 films, including Master Indian 2 and Master Annath.

It is believed that the film will be directed by Siruthai Siva. This is the first time Rajni and Sirdai Siva are united. Nayanthara plays the female lead in the movie. Khushboo, Meena, Keerthi Suresh, Prakash Raj and Suri will be seen in other important roles. D imman is the music. After four films starring Ajith Kumar, Shiv Rajinikanth will be back with the film.
