The Nelson Dilipkumar-directed film Jailer has Rajinikanth. His fans are eagerly anticipating the superstar’s return to the silver screen to work his magic once more. According to recent sources, the Kabali actor has also agreed to a two-movie deal with the producers of his 2020 film Darbar. If the rumors are to be believed, the second movie will be directed by Rajinikanth’s daughter Aishwaryaa, with the first movie being helmed by Cibi Chakravarthy of the Don fame.
The 173rd movie starring Rajinikanth will be directed by Aishwarya. In case you forgot, the Lingaa actor previously starred in Kochadaiyaan, the 2014 drama that his younger daughter Soundarya produced. He will, however, be working under his daughter’s supervision for the first time in this situation.
Rajinikanth is now busy shooting for Jailer. In the project, he will portray an elderly jailer. This much-discussed drama is now filming in Chennai, and after that, the crew will probably fly to Hyderabad for the next schedule.
According to reports, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan would appear on screen alongside Rajinikanth in Jailer. Although nothing has been confirmed as of yet, if this information is accurate, the movie will be their second collaboration following the 2010 blockbuster Enthiran. In addition, the drama will have supporting performances by Shiva Rajkumar, Vasanth Ravi, Yogi Babu, Ramya Krishnan, and Vinayakan, among others.
Anirudh Ravichander composed the music for the movie, which is being produced by Sun Pictures. Additionally, the drama’s cameraman is Vijay Karthik Kannan, and the editing team is led by R. Nirmal.
The release of Jailer is anticipated for the summer of 2023.
