Rajinikanth has begun filming for his upcoming film ‘Jailer,’ directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Sun Pictures, with Anirudh scoring the soundtrack. Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vinayakan, and Vasanth Ravi have been formally revealed as part of the cast, with other prominent names like Shivarajkumar and Tamannaah also expected to join.
Meanwhile, it is been widely reported in Kollywood that Rajinikanth has approved young director Cibi Chakravarthy to direct his next film, ‘Thalaivar 170.’ He is claimed to have loved the witty commercial script that Cibi narrated, and Lyca Productions will fund it. Anirudh is rumored to be in talks to compose the soundtrack, and the project is scheduled to begin production in April 2023. The official announcement is expected in the next few weeks.
