Rajinikanth praised Pa Ranjith for his film Natchathiram Nagargiradhu

Natchathiram Nagargiradhu, the director of Pa Ranjith’s most recent film, has received high appreciation from actor Rajinikanth, who calls it his best work. The movie, which examines the politics of love, has received overwhelmingly positive reviews from both spectators and critics. Ranjith expressed gratitude to Rajinikanth for his kind words on Twitter.

The sixth film directed by Ranjith is Natchathiram Nagargiradhu. Ranjith’s most recent film, which is a welcome change from his style of filmmaking that typically discusses the evils of caste politics, is undoubtedly his most daring and hard-hitting effort. Key characters in the movie are played by Kalidas Jayaram, Kalaiarasan, and Dushara Vijayan.

Pa Ranjith took to Twitter and wrote: “I am extremely touched by the appreciation from our #superstar @rajinikanth sir after watching Natchathiram Nagargiradhu. ‘This is your best work in terms of direction, writing, casting the performers, art, cinematography, music so far’ are the exact words that he quoted.” Ranjith and Rajinikanth have worked together in two Tamil films – Kabali and Kaala.

Anurag Kashyap, a filmmaker, highly praised Pa Ranjith’s most recent Tamil movie Natchathiram Nagargiradhu, which he just witnessed at a special screening in Mumbai. The Dobaaraa filmmaker praised the movie in a lengthy Instagram post, calling it his favorite Ranjith picture. He claimed that the movie was about love and how it must triumph over prejudice and hatred.

In his Instagram post, Anurag wrote, “Saw Natchathiram Nagargiradhu last night. The uncensored version. This is a film playing inside Pa Ranjith’s head. There is an order in his chaotic mind. Where so many of his identities are having conversations and conflicting with each other. They just want to be and in order to be, they have to assert themselves and hold on to their grounds.”
