AP Muthumani, the very first Rajinikanth fan to begin a fan club for the whiz, passed on March 10. Muthumani, who established the Rajinikanth Fan Association, was also very close to Thalaiva. As a matter of fact, he was so near him that he could meet his beloved actor at any point he needed.
As per sources, Rajinikanth had carried Muthumani to Chennai a few years prior in the wake of hearing that he had been admitted to the hospital owing to ill health. Rajini then made sure he received the best treatment.
AP Muthumani’s dad Picha had been a building contractor. Muthumani was brought into the world in Madurai, which is incredibly well known for its fan clubs of different actors. In these fan clubs, it is customary to frame pictures of the favorite actors of fans and worship them as Gods.
The film Kavikuyil, featuring Rajini (his fourth film), was delivered on July 29, 1977, at the Sridevi Theater in Madurai. A fan who saw the film at the Sridevi theater at the time reviewed that Rajini’s photograph was framed and put there, with “Superstar of the Era” written in English. The framing was done by Muthu’s Rajinikanth Fan’s Association.
Rajini has a huge number of fans today. They are spread across every part of India and the world. Nonetheless, Muthumani stood apart from the rest. He reserved the option to meet Rajini at home and outside with no prior appointments. Rajini even went to his wedding. Undoubtedly, Rajini lost a genuine fan. Find happiness in the hereafter, Muthumani!
