Allu Arjun and Rashmika Starrer Pushpa, needs to be eshot in dense forests as it is set in Red Sandalwood smuggling backdrop.
The team had originally planned to shoot in Kerala forests, but later it was shifted to Maredumilli forest region, in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. The Government has given permission to resume film shootings but Team Pushpa is not ready to go outdoors with a big crew.
It is highly risky in the current situation and the future looks bleak at least for another six months. Hence, Director Sukumar and Mythri Movie Makers have decided to construct a forest set in Annapurna studio.
It is not going to be an easy thing to do, but the production designers are up to the task. They can shoot all the closeup shots and other conversational scenes in this set and will film the chase sequences and action scenes later in real forests.
