Puneeth Rajkumar’s Gandhada Gudi screening made everyone emotional

Puneeth-Gandhada-Gudi

The Kannada docudrama Gandhada Gudi, directed by the late Puneeth Rajkumar, has now been released in theatres. The movie was the late Power Star’s last release, so it has a very important place in the hearts of the fans. A wistful video from the viewing is making the rounds on social media on the day the movie opens. When they first see Puneeth Rajkumar on the big screens, the audience applauds the late Kannada actor, hooting, clapping, and whistling.

Puneeth

Before witnessing the magic of the late Puneeth Rajkumar on the silver screens for the very last time, we also see some of the industry’s elite getting emotional. This showing is the ideal homage to the Power Star. Gandhada Gudi, directed by Amoghavarsha JS, is a documentary about the trip Puneeth Rajkumar and the director took to Karnataka to study the region’s rare animals. Puneeth Rajkumar, Amoghavarsha JS, and Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar all appear in the project.

Prior to passing away last year after a severe heart attack, the lead character had finished filming Gandhada Gudi. Under the auspices of PRK Productions, which is run by Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar, Pratheek Shetty handled the film’s camera work, and B. Ajaneesh Loknath composed the music.

On the other side, Puneeth Rajkumar will be given the state’s highest civilian honor, the Karnataka Ratna, posthumously on November 1. The Vidhana Soudha’s majestic staircase will host the ceremony. The Karnataka Chief Minister made an announcement for the same in November last year at the Puneetha Namana event by the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC).
