58 people, including Prithviraj and Blessy, have been stranded shooting of the movie Aadujeevitham in Jordan a few months before. They were unable to return after the lockdown and subsequent flight was stopped. After two months, they back to Kerala. The Air India flight departed for Delhi with expatriates from Jordan on Thursday. These include Prithviraj and his group and they have been repatriated, the Indian embassy in Jordan said. They reached Nedumbassery at 7.15 am.
Prithviraj arrived in Jordan in early March to shoot the film. Despite the Corona crisis, the group continued to shoot, seeking special permission. But with the curfew announced in Jordan, the shooting had to stop. But with the curfew relaxed, they were able to finish shooting but were unable to return to India. Many organizations tried to repatriate them, but they were all paramedics.
They are now in the throes of being able to return home months later. They entered the Quarantine at the behest of the Department of Health.
