The 2018 Kerala floods are the subject of the upcoming film directed by Jude Anthany Joseph, which is currently wrapping up principal photography. One of the biggest Malayalam films to begin production following the epidemic, the film stars Tovino Thomas, Asif Ali, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Kunchacko Boban, and Aparna Balamurali and boasts an all-star ensemble.

As a result, it also fits the bill for a major announcement. Since November 2, actors as part of the film’s cast have been sharing a poster of Prithviraj Sukumaran and Fahadh Faasil with the message of an announcement at 6 pm on November 3. All indications point to the two superstars revealing Jude’s film’s title, even if it hasn’t been formally confirmed.

Especially considering Jude had thanked producer Anto Joseph on social media for realizing his dream project. Prior to the pandemic, the director was slated to work with Anto on the film 2403 FT; however, it appears that he has since teamed up with Venu Kunnappilly, producer of Kavya Films, for his project.

Jude thanked Anto for introducing him to Venu in a social media post. Jude claimed that after reading the script, the latter chose to create the movie, despite opposition from many. The film, which was shot over the course of 100 days in 200 locations, featured work by close to 125 artists. The picture has been in the director’s hands for more than four years.

In addition, Lal, Tanvi Ram, and Guru Somasundaram appear in the film, which will hit theatres early in 2019. Asif, Lal, and Narain’s scenes in the movie are filmed in Thangassery, Kollam, while Tovino and Kunchacko Boban, who plays a land revenue department officer, finished their parts earlier this year. Jude’s fourth film as a filmmaker follows Ohm Shanthi Oshaana, Oru Muthassi Gadha, and Sara.
