Prithviraj and Nayanthara’s GOLD release date is closer


The release date for “Gold,” a film directed by Alphonse Puthren and starring Nayanthara and Prithviraj Sukumaran is OUT. You did read that correctly. The film will release on December 1 and has been officially announced by the producers.

The creators posted a humorous remark on social media to announce the release date. The message reads, “We have only seen twists in films, now there are twists for a film release. For the audience who have been waiting, Gold is coming to theatres on December 1. Don’t give more twists on the release date, God. For God’s sake!”

The film’s first-look poster and a teaser were previously released by the creators. In the movie, Nayanthara will play Sumangali Unnikrishnan, and Prithviraj Sukumaran will play Joshi S, according to the teaser. The film stars Nayanthara and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the key roles, with supporting performances by Ajmal Amir, Lalu Alex, Mallika Sukumaran, Shammi Thilakan, and Baburaj. The story of the film revolves around incidents that take place over four days in the life of mobile shop owner, Joshi.


The film has been produced by Supriya Menon and Listin Stephen under Prithviraj Productions and Magic Frames’ banner. The cinematography has been done by Anend C. Chandran and Viswajith Odukkathil while the music has been given by Rajesh Murugesan. Lyrics have been penned by Shabareesh Varma.


Alphonse Puthren, who has previously delivered hits like ‘Neram’ and ‘Premam’ in an interview said, “Please don’t expect a film from me like NERAM or PREMAM . GOLD might be similar to NERAM, but it is unique in its own way. There are more than 40 Characters newly written for GOLD. We all will try to entertain you. That our team will guarantee.,”
