Prime Minister Sharma Oli says India is responsible for the spread of Kovid in Nepal

Nepal Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli says India is responsible for the increase in the number of Covid casualties in Nepal.

Nepal Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli says India is responsible for the increase in the number of Covid casualties in Nepal. The Prime Minister of Nepal alleged that the spread of Kovid was caused by Indians crossing the border without adequate inspection.

Kovid has so far affected 682 people in Nepal. Four people died. Sharmi Oli’s accusation against India comes in the wake of the highest number of incidents of corruption in Nepal. Yesterday there were 79 new cases of Covide confirmed. Lockdown was extended in Nepal until June 2.

‘Nepal has a lower death rate than other South Asian countries. Indians from India come without proper checks. This leads to the spread of Kovid, ‘the Nepal PM blames.

Nepal’s Prime Minister also said that the Covid inspection would be increased. Earlier, there was only one lab in the country which had a Covid test. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has said that at present there are about twenty labs in the country which are conducting Covid tests.

Nepal’s Prime Minister has blamed India for this. In a speech to parliament on May 20, Oli said the virus from India was more deadly than in China and Italy. “The virus came from India through illegal means,” Sharmi said.
