In honor of the late actor Puneeth Rajkumar, multilingual actor Prakash Raj donated an ambulance to Mission Hospital in Mysuru. Puneeth Rajkumar was affectionately known as “Appu,” and the APPU Xpress ambulance will be provided without charge to the needy.

Speaking at a gathering held in this regard on Saturday in Mysuru, Mr. Raj expressed his desire to have one such free ambulance service operating in each district of the State. He won’t think twice about raising money for the undertaking. He claimed that his friends and well-wishers advised him to give the ambulance to the Mission Hospital in Mysuru, which has spent more than a century serving the underprivileged. Additionally, Mr. Prakash Raj disclosed that he would soon establish a blood bank on the hospital grounds for the benefit of the underprivileged.
On October 29th of last year, Puneeth passed away after a severe heart attack. His wife Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar and two daughters predeceased him. He was cremated at Kanteerava Studios along with his parents’ memorial with full state honors. Celebs from various professions and over 10 lakh people from Bengaluru paid their last respects to Puneeth. His most recent film, “James,” debuted to rave reviews at the box office on March 17.
Gandha Gudi, Puneeth Rajkumar’s most recent movie and a project of his dreams, will soon be released in theatres. His wife, who is funding the movie, shared a new poster and the release date on Twitter.
