Prabhas’s Radhe Shyam pre-release box office collection crosses Rs 200 crore

Radhe Shyam is helmed by director Radha Krishna Kumar. Prabhas‘ greatly anticipated film Radhe Shyam will release this Friday on 11th March. Before its release, it was reported that the film clocked a record pre-release business.

As per AndhraBoxOffice.com, the film’s theatrical rights have brought about Rs 210 crores. Of which, more than Rs 100 crore has come from selling distribution rights in the Telugu states.

Considering the pan India fame of Prabhas, the film is relied upon to take a huge opening across many parts of the country. The film, in the interim, is set to thoroughly overwhelm the screens in Telugu states. The Telugu form of Suriya‘s Etharkkum Thunindhavan is probably not going to compete with the box office of Radhe Shyam. Etharkkum Thunindhavan is expected in theaters on Thursday.

Radhe Shyam will have a fourteen-day theatrical run in the Telugu film industry.  The film will not have competition from the big-budget films. The next big release will come in the form of director SS Rajamouli’s highly-anticipated movie RRR. Starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead, RRR is due in cinemas on March 25.

Radhe Shyam is expected to further recover the theatrical business in India, which was hard hit by the outbreak of the pandemic. The movie is also set to benefit from the revised ticket prices in Andhra Pradesh. The movie is written by Radha Krishna Kumar. Radhe Shyam likewise stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead.

The multi-lingual love story is set in the background of Europe in the 1970s. The film will release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. It additionally stars Sachin Khedekar, Sathyaraj, Priyadarshi Pulikonda, Bhagyashree, Murli Sharma, Kunaal Roy Kapoor, Riddhi Kumar, Sasha Chettri, and Sathyan.
