Prabhas was the first choice for Student No. 1- Ashwini Dutt.

The iconic director SS Rajamouli made his Tollywood debut in 2001 with the romantic action movie Student No. 1. Both critics and viewers praised Jr NTR’s performance in this coming-of-age movie. Jr. NTR became a well-known actor in the film business because of the film. This was Jr. NTR’s second movie.

Jr. NTR was not the original choice for this movie’s lead role, though. At first, the producers were interested in casting Prabhas in the lead role. Producer Chalasani Ashwini Dutt recently uncovered in a segment of the celebrity chat show. After Student No. 1’s story was finished, according to Ashwini, they started looking for the lead actor.

Initially, Prabhas was chosen to play the title character. After the late actor Nandamuri Harikrishna requested that his son Jr. NTR be cast, the decision was altered. Student No. 1 was produced by Ashwini through his production firm, Vyjayanthi Movies.

In addition to Student No. 1, Ashwini discussed his next movie Project K. According to Ashwini, the film’s grand science fiction project has practically finished shooting to this point. Prabhas and Deepika Padukone play key roles in the star-studded movie. In the film, Amitabh Bachchan will also play a significant role. An alleged schedule for the movie was recently finished at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. This schedule also included a few moments with Deepika Padukone and some solo Prabhas scenes. This is Deepika’s first Telugu film.

In addition to having a fantastic cast, Project K’s creators continue to push the boundaries of technology. For filming, makers use an Alexa 65 camera. This camera costs a staggering Rs 8 crore. The Avengers, Godzilla, and King Kong were among the high-budget Hollywood movies that employed this camera. This camera was purchased for Project K’s filming for a unique reason. This camera can reportedly record high-quality motion photographs, according to sources. Additionally, specialized experts have been employed to make the best use of this camera.

Project K will release on October 18 of next year or in January 2024.
