There has been speculation that the release date of Prabhas and Shruti Haasan’s ‘Salaar’ will be changed. However, the producers issued a statement dismissing the rumours. ‘Salaar,’ directed by Prashanth Neel, is said to be the story of a gang leader who tries to keep a promise he made to a dying friend by taking on other criminal gangs. There are speculations that this high-voltage action entertainer will have its release in two parts.
During a recent interview, producer Vijay Kiragandur stated that ‘Salaar’ has completed 85 percent of its filming. The entire shoot will be completed by January. The VFX work takes six months to complete. ‘Salaar,’ as previously announced, will be released on September 28, according to Vijay Kiragandur, the head of Hombale Films. Director Prashanth Neel announced that the film will release in September 2023. If the film has two parts, there is a lot of confusion about the release date of the second part.
‘Salaar,’ in addition to Prabhas and Shruti, stars Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Madhu Guruswamy, Easwari Rao, and Sriya Reddy. The technical team includes cinematographer Bhuvan Gowda and editor Ujwal Kulkarni. Music for this film has been composed by Ravi Basrur of ‘KGF’ fame.
Prabhas’ upcoming films are eagerly anticipated by fans and the general public. Apart from ‘Salaar,’ Prabhas will next be seen in ‘Spirit,’ ‘Adipurush’ (opposite Kriti Sanon), ‘Project K’ with Deepika Padukone, and the upcoming film of director Maruti. Om Raut’s ‘Adipurush’ is likely to be delayed due to a snag in graphic design.
