Prabhas took to his social media today to announce that his much-awaited film ‘Adipurush’, co-starring Saif Ali Khan, has gone on the floors today. However, according to the latest reports, a level 2 fire has broken out on the film’s sets at around 4 pm yesterday. Reportedly, around 50-60 people were present when the incident took place at Film City in Goregaon. Fortunately, Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan were not there at that time.
Adipurush is directed by Om Raut. The film is based on the Ramayana and is being produced by T Series. The film will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Tamil. Adipurush is set to release on August 11, 2022. Prabhas plays Lord Ram in the film. Saif Ali Khan will play the villain role, Lankesh in the film.
Sources inform that eight fire engines, five jumbo tankers, one water tanker, and a JCB have been sent by the Mumbai Fire Brigade to control the fire. No casualties have been reported so far. Currently, the fire fighting operation is underway and the situation seems to under control. The cause of the fire is speculated to be a short circuit on the set.
