There have been a ton of bits of gossip out of nowhere that Rebel Star Prabhas‘ Radhe Shyam would avoid its theatrical release or show up directly on the OTT platform. The rumors said the film will straightforwardly show up on Zee5 in February. This explanation should place lay on the bits of gossip. Radhe Shyam should have been released on January 14th as Sankranthi Special but due to the third wave strike the movie was postponed. As things come back to the normal situation, the film is probably going to release just in March or April as Summer Special. The release date will rely upon the business as usual in the nation and also the release of other biggies including Rajamouli‘s RRR.

The prices the streaming companies give will work out to the productions that are made under Rs 120 crore budgets. The maximum an OTT company can offer is in the range of Rs 150 crore. Such an amount would not recover the investment made by producers for movies like “Radhe Shyam”, “RRR” and other big-ticket productions. These biggies were made with more than Rs 300 crore.
Finally, “Radhe Shyam” will only be released in theaters first.
