Anthony Varghese‘s starter Poovan Movie is gearing up for an OTT release. Zee Network has acquired the digital rights to the film. Sea5 will start airing Poovan on March 24. Poovan is directed by actor Vineeth Vasudevan, who played the role of Ajith Menon in the hit film Super Sharanya. The theme of the film is a rooster and the events unfolding in its background. Jin Cherukail, Vineeth Viswam, Varun Dhara, Girish Eddy, Anishma Anilkumar, Akhila Bhargavan, and Rinku Randheer played the main characters in the film.
The story of the film is composed by Varun Dhara and is a combination of comedy and thriller in a rural setting. Cinematography is done by Sajith Purusha. The editor is Akash Joseph Varghese and the art director is Sabu Mohan.
