An undertaking ride set in the tenth 100 years, Ponniyin Selvan tracks the factional fights for rule inside the Chola domain, with foes of the state going about as impetuses. The story is set in the wild period before Ponniyin Selvan (child of River Kaveri), later known as Rajaraja Chola became the best ruler in Indian history introducing a beautiful age.

Ponninyin Selvan is overall mutually bankrolled by Mani Ratnam and Lyca Productions while Siva Ananth is the film’s Executive Producer. A.R. Rahman will make the music and Ravi Varman has been roped in for cinematography. The much-anticipated movie is co-composed by the director alongside Elango Kumaravel and B Jeyamohan.
