The forthcoming movie ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ which is directed by Mani Ratnam is promoted as historical fiction. The dubbing and post-production of the film are going full bore. Barely any weeks back, entertainer Vikram Prabhu finished his dubbing for the film. Presently, entertainers, Jayam Ravi and Karthi have apparently completed the dubbing for their parts in the film.
Jayam Ravi plays the part of Raja Rajacholam Arul Mozhivarman and Karthi plays the part of Vandiyadhevan.In the meantime, actress Vidya Subramaniam has begun dubbing for the film. The film highlights Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Trisha, Jayaram, Aishwarya Lekshmi, and Sobhita Dhulipala leading the pack jobs. Sarathkumar, Vikram Prabhu, and Prakash Raj will show up in the supporting jobs.
The promotion for the first part of the Ponniyin Selvan franchise is expected to begin post-Pongal. If rumors are anything to go by, the movie might have its premiere in Cannes in May 2022 prior to the release in July. AR Rahman has composed the music while Ravi Varman has operated the camera.
‘Ponniyin Selvan’ is produced by Lyca Productions alongwith Madras Talkies. The shooting for the film occurred in different parts of the nation including Pondicherry, Gwalior, Mysore, and Udumalai. The film will be out on screens one year from now.
There is news doing the rounds that Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan part one aka PS-I’s audio launch will take place in cities like London and Dubai around April. The hearsays are that makers are planning to launch the audio across several cities.
