In a historic move, Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbuster movie Pathaan is all set to become the first Hindi film to release in Bangladesh after a gap of 52 years. The movie has been a sensation since its release in January 2022 and has achieved yet another milestone with this release. Pathaan will hit the Bangladeshi screens on May 12, 2023, and this is indeed a big achievement for the team as it represents the first Hindi movie to release post-1971 when the country was created.

The authorities in Bangladesh have given permission for the release of Pathaan, which is a major development for the Indian film industry. The movie has been a huge commercial success and is the second-highest-grossing Hindi film of all time, having earned over Rs 1000 crore globally.
