Indian Army offers NCC students the opportunity to join the Short Service Commission (SSC). NCC Special Entry Scheme Notice of 49th Course (April 2021) has been issued. There are 55 vacancies. NCC Men-50 (General Section-45, Army Officers Injured in War-5), NCC Women-5 (General Category-4, War Injured Army Officers-1), Such are the vacancies. Basic educational qualification is a degree in any subject with at least 50% marks. Final year degree students can also apply. In addition, a C certificate of NCC is required. Applicants must be between 19 and 25 years of age. Age is calculated based on 1-1-2021. Must have been born between January 2, 1996 and January 1, 2002.
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their marks in the qualifying examination. SSB will conduct interviews for them in two phases. There will be two phases, phase-1 and phase-2. Those who are not selected in Phase-1 will not be able to participate in Phase-2. Those selected will be called for a final medical test. Eligible candidates can apply online.
