Recently, Nithya Menen spoke up about being bullied by a film critic who is well-known for his eccentric film reviews on social media. This stunning disclosure was made by the Ok Kanmani actress during one of her recent interviews for the movie 19 (1). Nithya further disclosed that the viral film critic had caused her parents just as much distress.

Nithya stated that she went through all of this when her mother was undergoing treatment for cancer without disclosing the reviewer’s name.“Those who believe whatever he says are the real fools. He has been harassing me for a long time. He began to speak about me publicly after he became viral. He has been bothering me for more than six years. I have shown incredible patience despite everyone asking me to file a police complaint. He would call my parents on their phones. Finally, even they had to raise their voice after losing their patients. He would always call even when my mother was recovering from cancer. I have seen my father and mother, who are usually gentle and calm, speak angrily to him. I told them to block his number. I had to block almost thirty phone numbers that he owns,” Nithya opened up in an interview.

On the work front, Nithya Menen will play one of the leads in Dhanush’s next movie Thiruchitrambalam. Nithya Menen was most recently seen in the judicial drama “19 (1) (a),” which also starred Vijay Sethupathi. Thiruchitrambalam, written and directed by Mithran Jawahar, is scheduled for release on August 18, 2022. Under the name Sun Pictures, Kalanithi Maran is the producer of the movie.
