Alongside the jersey, Adidas has unveiled the inspiring theme song ‘Three Ka Dream,’ aimed at motivating the Indian team as they strive for their third World Cup victory on home turf.Featured in the promotional poster showcasing the new jersey are Indian cricket stars, including Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Shubman Gill, Mohammad Siraj, and Kuldeep Yadav. The jersey proudly displays two stars above the BCCI logo, symbolizing India’s two previous World Cup triumphs. However, some fans criticized this, arguing that India has won three World Cups and deserved three stars. Adidas clarified that the stars correspond to the ODI World Cups won by India, which currently stands at two.

India will kick off their World Cup campaign against Australia on October 8 in the much-anticipated tournament commencing on October 5. The Adidas jersey retains its design from the Dream XI jersey, the sporting sponsor of the Indian team, albeit without the Dream XI logo specifically for the World Cup. Notably, the three white stripes on the jersey’s shoulder now incorporate the tricolor, symbolizing the Indian flag.
