Famous director Nelson Dilipkumar made his debut in 2018 with the Nayantara-starrer Kolamaavu Kokila’. But his directorial journey began a whole lot sooner with Silambarasan’s ‘Vettai Mannan’ in 2010.

‘Vettai Mannan’ is an action spy thriller. The movie is based on the life of the underworld assassins and the plot revolves around the lead who becomes an international assassin.
Prior, we had revealed that the shooting for ‘Vettai Mannan’ could restart in the future. Reports recommend that the film creators had then stopped the shooting because of budget issues. Presently they have chosen to start ‘Vettai Mannan’.

After ‘Kolamaavu Kokila’, Nelson gave his next movie ‘Doctor’ and had Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role. Currently, he will be directing Rajinikanth’s next which is probably named ‘Thalaivar 169’ which also has Anirudh Ravichander on the keys.Nelson-Rajinikanth

On the work front, Simbu is presently bustling going for ‘Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu‘. Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu also stars Siddhi Idnani, Raadhika Sarathkumar, Siddique, and Aangelina Abraham. AR Rahman is composing the music for the movie. The film is directed by Gautham Menon. Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu marks Silambarasan’s fourth collaboration with Gautham. He also has ‘Pathu Thala’, ‘Corona Kumar’, and a yet to be tilted film with director Ashwath Marimuthu.
