NEET, JEE Exams 2021: The administration of the Union Territory of Ladakh has announced financial assistance for coaching talented students. According to an official spokesperson, under a scheme of the administration ‘Rewa- Lt Governor’s Student Support Initiative’, a coaching facility will be made available for special examinations.
He said that this scheme will be applicable for those examinations which will be held after October 1 this year. Under this scheme, a total of 60 students from Ladakh will be selected on the basis of 10th board exam marks. Whereas 70 students will be selected on the basis of 12th board exam marks. The spokesman said that the merit list will be prepared separately for the students of class 10th and 12th.
Talented students who are planning to appear in NEET, JEE, UG CLAT and ADA examinations will be given financial assistance of Rs.
Under this financial help, Rs 1 lakh will be reimbursed as coaching fees and up to Rs 64000 for residential coaching institutes. For taking coaching or any course outside the state, Rs 36000 will be available annually i.e. Rs 3 thousand per month. Not only this, students resident of Ladakh who clears the preliminary examination of UPSC Civil Services will be given financial assistance of up to Rs 1.54 lakh. Out of this, Rs 1 lakh will be available for coaching and Rs 54 thousand for 18 months for going out of Ladakh for residence expenses etc. Under this scheme, after the release of the results of 10th, 12th students, students will be able to apply with their mark sheets.
Students can take admission in the coaching of NEET, JEE, UG CLAT, and NDA within two years of the release of the merit list of students. After taking admission, candidates will have to upload the admission fee receipt on the portal through the online portal. At the same time, the candidate who will pass the preliminary examination of UPSC will be given financial assistance for 18 months.
