The upcoming film starring Navya Nair and Saiju Kurup, is titled ‘Janaki Jaane.’ The title was announced on social media on Wednesday (Jan 11). Aniesh Upaasana, who has previously directed films such as ‘Matinee,’ ‘Seconds,’ and ‘Popcorn,’ directs the film.
The first look poster depicts the lead actors, Navya Nair and Saiju Kurup, dressed in ethnic garb and attending a puja function for their house construction.

Navya Nair previously collaborated with Saiju Kurup in ‘Oruthee,’ and the upcoming film will mark their reunion. ‘Janaki Jaane’ is a lighthearted comedy. Apart from the duo, the movie also has Sharafudheen, Kottayam Nazeer, and Johny Antony as part of the cast. Saiju plays a road contractor while Navya will be seen as a printing press employee. Saiju approaches her with a marriage proposal and what happens next is the story.
Aniesh Upaasana wrote and directed ‘Janaki Jaane’. On the technical front, Syamaprakash MS has been hired as a cinematographer, and Noufal Abdullah has been hired as editor. Kailas Menon composed the film’s music, and Jothish Shankar designed the production. On November 10, 2022 the film went into production.
