Indian 2, Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan’s next with director Shankar, is on its creation mode. Sources near the development have uncovered that the film creators have roped in Malayalam actor Nandu Poduval to reprise late Nedumudi Venu’s part in the film. Nedumudi Venu, who played the job of Krishnaswamy, a CBI official in Indian, had shot a couple of scenes for the sequel of the super hit Tamil film before his demise in October last year.
Following Nandu’s similar looks to Nedumudi Venu, the creators took the choice and presently plan to shoot the rest scenes with the actor. Indian 2 had gone on floors in February 2020, yet the cast and team needed to confront the deficiency of two actors. Nedumudi Venu and Tamil actor Vivek, played a huge part in the prequel, following which the shooting was required to be postponed. Also, Navrasa legend Karthik is supposed to join Indian 2. An official declaration is expected soon.
In the meantime, Kajal Aggarwal, who will star as the female lead in the film, has affirmed that the shooting of Indian 2 will continue on September 13. This will be Kajal’s first movie after pregnancy. Right now, Kamal Haasan is set for the US for a drawn-out trip as he is wearing two unique looks for the film.
Arrangements for Indian 2 set works are advancing in a film city in Chennai. Then again, director Shankar is occupied with RC 15 featuring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani. Kamal Haasan prior to a meeting had shared that he won’t ever stop the film.
