Aditya 369, a 1991 blockbuster movie starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, requires no introduction to Telugu audiences. The movie is a cult favorite in the Telugu film community. It is also regarded as the highest-grossing film and Balakrishna’s best performance. Fans of Aditya 369 have been anticipating its sequel for a while, and now Balakrishna has finally shared some information about it. The actor opened up by revealing he will be directing the sequel and made a hint about it.
Sharing details about the sequel of Aditya 368, Balayya said not just acting but will also be directing. “I too wanted to direct, but my film Narthanasala got shelved. Due to some reasons, I didn’t make another attempt to direct a film. However, I’m planning to do Aditya 999 next year, the actor said.”
Fans of Balakrishna are enraged by his recent statement. The actor most recently attended the Das Ka Dhamki trailer debut ceremony for hero Vishwak Sen’s newest film. And that’s where Balakrishna spoke about the Aditya 369 sequel.

When it was first released, the film Aditya 369 was years ahead of anything produced in Tollywood. The science fiction film, which is based on the idea of time travel, completely changed Telugu cinema. Two Nandi Awards went to Aditya 369, one for production design and one for costume design.
The movie, which was directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao, starred Nandamuri Balakrishna and Mohini with supporting performances by Amrish Puri, Tinnu Anand, and Suthivelu. It was dubbed into Tamil as Apoorva Sakthi 369 and Hindi as Mission 369. In Telugu cinema, Aditya 369 is regarded as a seminal work in the science fiction genre.
In the meantime, Nandamuri Balakrishna is hard at work filming his upcoming project alongside Malineni Gopichand which has the working title NBK107. Anil Ravipudi, the director of F3, and Balakrishna are collaborating on an upcoming action movie with the working title NBK108.
