Nandamuri Balakrishna clicked at sister Uma Maheswari’s funeral

The daughter of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, Kanthamaneni Uma Maheswari, was reportedly discovered hanging on Monday at her Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, residence. At her home for the last rituals this morning, her brother Nandamuri Balakrishna and nephew actor Kalyan Ram were photographed.

She apparently committed herself on Monday owing to health concerns, according to allegations in the media. However, it is unknown why she made this significant decision. Under section 174 of the 1973 Code of Criminal Procedure, a case has been filed (Police to enquire and report on suicide, etc.). Uma Maheswari is survived by her daughter Dikshitha. It is said that she might have taken this decision after going into depression over family and health issues.

Uma Maheswari’s brother, well-known Tollywood actor N Balakrishna, Chandrababu Naidu, Nara Lokesh, and other family members hurried to Maheswari’s home in Hyderabad after learning of his sister’s tragic news. The youngest of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) founder Sr NTR’s 12 children was Uma Maheshwari. Eight sons and four daughters were born to NT Rama Rao.

For those who don’t know, N. T. Rama Rao, also known as Sr. NTR, was an actor, director, and politician who led Andhra Pradesh for seven years across three administrations. Along with his political career, he made nearly 300 movies. Kalyan Ram and N. T. Rama Rao, also known as Jr. NTR, are the Nandamuri family’s second-generation children and are Harikrishna’s sons. Nandamuri Harikrishna is NT Rama Rao’s 4th son, who died in a car accident on 29 August 2018.
