Nagarjuna, a Telugu actor, was given a “stop work” notice by a Goa panchayat on Wednesday due to alleged illegal excavation and construction activities at Mandrem Village in North Goa. In accordance with the Goa Panchayat Raj Act of 1994, Mandrem Panchayat Sarpanch Amit Sawant has issued the notification. According to the notification, the respondent engaged in illegal activity within the boundaries of the village.
Whereas this Panchayat has become aware that you are allegedly engaging in illegal construction and excavation in the Ashvewada, Mandrem village property bearing survey number 211/2 B without first seeking authorization from the relevant authorities and this Panchayat, the notice reads. If the activity is not stopped right now, the Panchayat threatened to take required legal action under the Goa Panchayat Raj Act of 1994.
On the work front, Nagarjuna had three releases this year—”Wild Dog,” “Bangarraju,” and “The Ghost”—with the exception of “Bangarraju,” his other two films did not perform well at the box office. However, Nag’s Big Boss Telugu has been a success, and its sixth season had just finished.
