Nagarjuna explains the meaning of “Tamahagane”

The phrase “Tamahagane,” which appears in his next film “The Ghost” and has generated a lot of attention among internet users, actually referred to a legendary metal that was used to build swords for the deadliest of warriors, Telugu superstar Nagarjuna revealed on Thursday.

The production company behind “The Ghost,” Northstar Entertainment, asked internet users if they were familiar with the term “Tamahagane” in a social media post. It was done as part of the promotion for the movie, which is being made available on an OTT platform.
Nagarjuna amplified the question posed by the production house. “What is Tamahagane? Can you guess?” he asked.

Numerous fans and movie enthusiasts were interested in the query and sought to learn what the term meant. But few knew the answers. The marketing strategy was successful, and the question piqued internet users’ interest. On Thursday, Nagarjuna chose to give away the answer. He wrote: “#TAMAHAGANE!! A legendary metal for the Katana of the fiercest of warriors through the ages. Now in the hands of ‘The Ghost’!! Trailer out in theatres on August 25th.”

Additionally, the actor sent a link to a YouTube clip in which he was forging a sword out of metal. The phrase is a combination of the terms “Tama,” which means “precious,” and “Hagane,” which means “steel,” as shown in the promotional video. In addition to Sonal Chauhan, Gul Panag, Anikha Surendran, Manish Chaudhari, Ravi Varma, Shrikanth Iyyangar, and Bilal Hossein, “The Ghost” is directed by Praveen Sattaru. The movie, which promises to be an exciting action entertainer, features music by Mark K. Robin and cinematography by Mukesh G.
