Wajid Khan, one among the Sajid-Wajid duo passes away on Monday midnight at Surana Hospital Mumbai due to Kidney infection.
The news was confirmed by Singer Sonu Nigam. Sonu, took to Social Media to confirm the news, “My Brother Wajid left us”.. wrote Sonu Nigam

Another Music Composer Salim Ali spoke about the death and he said that Wajid Khan was admitted to Surana Hospital, Chembur a few days back due to kidney infection.
“He had multiple issues. He had a kidney issue and had a transplant a while ago. But recently he got to know about kidney infection… He was on the ventilator for the last four days, after his situation started getting worse. Kidney infection was the beginning and then he got critical..” said Salim.
The Music composer duo made their debut in 1998 through Salman Khan movie ‘Pyar Kiya you Dharna Kya’. And their success through various other movies like Garv, Tere Naam,Dabangg serie etc. Wajid Khan was also a great singer, he rendered voice to some super hit songs, Fevicol Se, Mera he jalwa, Chinta Ta Chita Chita etc.. The Music Composer Duo also served as mentors on singing reality shows ‘Saregamapa 2012’ and ‘Saregamapa Super Stars’..
