Mohanlal’s mother lives at home in Kochi. It is learned that Mohanlal, who was staying with his wife Suchitra and son Pranav at his home in Chennai for more than four months, came to Kochi to see his ailing mother. Mohanlal’s daughter is currently in Thailand as part of her wonderful Thai martial arts training.
Last May, photos of Mohanlal celebrating his 60th birthday with his close relatives and friends at his home in Chennai went viral on social media. His wife Suchitra, son Pranav and close friend director Priyadarshan was with Mohanlal at the time.
Mohanlal’s immediate release after the lockdown, released in 2013, the second part of the film ‘Drishyam’, which rewrote the history of Malayalam cinema till then, was officially announced by Mohanlal himself on his 60th birthday through his Facebook page. The film is titled ‘Scene 2 – The Reception’.
