Indian Army has changed the eligibility rules for the recently released Constable (GD) recruitment in the Women Military Police. Now only women of Indian Gorkha community will be able to apply in this recruitment. Whereas in the notification issued about a week ago, women from the Gorkha community of both Nepal and India could apply for this.

The Indian Army on its recruitment website joinindianarmy.nic.in issued a notice of change in the notification of women military police recruitment saying, ‘Amendment in Para No. 2 of the notification of Women Military Police Constable GD Recruitment: All Gorkhas (Nepal and India) instead of only Indian Gurkhas.’

Let us tell you that the application process for Women Military Police Recruitment is going on from 6th June. Rally is to be organized in different cities for recruitment to a total of 100 vacancies as constable general duty. These cities include Ambala, Lucknow, Jabalpur, Belgaum, Pune and Shillong. Candidates can apply by visiting joinindianarmy.nic.in till 20 July 2021.

For this, 10th pass youth with at least 45% marks can apply. Must have at least 33% marks in all subjects. Apart from this, the age of the candidates should not be less than 17.5 years and not more than 21 years, that is, the candidate should not have been born earlier than 1st October 2000 and not later than 1st April 2004.
