In the spread of the corona, the Meghalaya Board will not conduct the selection test for the students writing the Class 10th and 12th examinations next year.Â
Education Minister Lahmen Rimbui said on Wednesday that the state school board has decided not to conduct the selection test for the students writing the Class 10th and 12th examinations next year.
Lahman Rimbui further said that the class 10th and 12th examinations conducted by the Meghalaya Board of School Education will be held in March-April next year. The selection test has been postponed due to Kovid-19. This is being done only for this year. Its notice has been taken out.
He said, “The state government has decided to abolish the selection test for both the classes, and the schools are directed not to conduct any selection test for the students at their level.
According to the minister, the MSLC and HSSLC Exam 2021 had given a one-time waiver to all candidates desirous of appearing, but students who failed the selection test held in 2019 will be allowed to appear in the upcoming MSLC and HSSLC examination. The HSSLC exam will be conducted in March-April, 2021.
