Marjaavaan movie review and rating – Latest Updates

Marjaavaan Latest Bollywood movies released today. Starring Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh, and Tara Sutaria, etc. Critics’ reviews of the movie are out, which are not so positive. Sidharth plays the character of a goon with a good heart, whose life changes after he falls in love with a mute girl played by Tara Sutaria. Like any other love story, here too exists a villain, a 3-feet cruel don played by Riteish. The movie is being said to be high in terms of romance and action but lacks logic and freshness. Marjaavaan is being called an over-dramatic movie with very little to impress the audience.

The film directed by Milap Zaveri, the film also features Rakul Preet Singh in a special appearance and she apparently does not have much to add to the plot. Check some of the critics’ reviews and ratings of Marjaavaan: Marjaavaan attempts to check all the boxes for an emotional action rollercoaster, but its dated execution doesn’t quite make the kill. (2.5*/5*).

The action scenes are slick and Zaveri remains loyal to the milieu and garnished speeches. It might have worked too, had the story had some heft, some surprises and if one could feel the complexities of the relationships between these flawed characters who remain nothing more than billboard-sized cardboard cutouts.
NDTV Say yes to Marjaavaan at your own peril. The film is so short of new ideas that at least a couple of its songs are rehashes. One of them has Nora Fatehi gyrating to it with all the enthusiasm in the world. Unfortunately, it is unlikely that too many people will be queuing up to pay her – and the unabashed retreading of tired tropes that this film proffers – back in kind. (1*/5*)
